What to expect on your first visit at Hemet Family Chiropractic in Hemet, CA

Any new experience, especially when it comes to your health, can be unnerving.  We understand this and we will make every effort to make your first experience very comfortable. Our friendly staff  and the doctor will answer any questions and address any concerns you may have.

We recommend for your first appointment, you arrive fifteen minutes early to complete the required paperwork.  A complete health history is the first step for any new chiropractic patient. We will ask about old injuries, chronic problems, and your current symptoms.  What are your sensitive or painful areas?  When did the pain start?  What caused the pain? In addition, the doctor might inquire about your family history, dietary habits, job or work habits, and previous treatments for the current condition (chiropractic, osteopathic, medical, etc.).

Our waiting areaAfter reviewing the health history, Dr. Richard Badura will discuss his findings with you and determine how your condition could best be treated. If the doctor feels chiropractic will help you, then (and only then) will he recommend a treatment plan - or if conditions allow, discuss a choice of treatment options.

Treatments will be tailored to your specific needs—addressing your specific health problems and personal concerns. Aside from adjustments, other therapeutic methods, massage techniques, or home care remedies may be recommended.

DID YOU KNOW?

Typical chiropractic adjustments do not hurt. The patient may experience a minor amount of discomfort during the adjustment which lasts only seconds in an effort to correct misalignments and / or "fixations" in the spine that are causing pain or other symptoms and may have been present for years. Any discomfort you may have following your first few adjustments can be compared to the soreness you have after a hard workout at the gym.
